Price check.
« on: June 26, 2009, 03:29:01 PM »
I realize this is not exactly handi specific, but this is where I hang out and you guys are about the most price conscious people I know. If this needs to be somewhere else please move and my apologies.  I am cleaning out brass that has been sitting around for 15 years+ and am pricing for a yard sale tomorrow. I believe that fair prices would be 1/2 of what new goes for for once fired and looking bright and shinny. unsure for more than once fired but still looking good? Then about 1/4 new remington prices for old military that is adequately tarnished/patinia colored. Is this about going rate or too high, too low.
Thanks Don.

Why not list them here in the reloading classifieds?
By the way, what cals do you have brass in?

Don, as Aaron suggested, list them in the Reloading Equipment and Supplies classified forum after browsing several page looking at what it has sold for in the past, we don't delete ads for this reason, future pricing reference.  ;)

I plan on listing whats left. Just thought might alleviate some of shipping hassel and worry of someone not thinking I described something adequately and getting a neg feedback. Thanks   But I did want to confirm if pricing fairly or not. By the way I noticed in midway they had previously fired condition 3 for about half price of new. What is condition 3?
Thanks Don.

Grade 3 brass has not been cleaned or deprimed. Inventory and specifications are subject to availability. This is not loaded ammunition. Please check our website often for other once-fired brass that is periodically available.
Grade 1 when they have it has been cleaned. ;)
As for your prices I think that is about right for once fired. Don't know about the older more than once fired. I havent had any luck selling older brass. :-\
