Mec Charge Bars

Why do some of the charge bars have a rubber insert and some don't on the shot side?I bought a 302100 for a sizemaster to replace a 30278 and it doesn't have the rubber insert.I think I can e-mail Mec,just thought you guys might know.

Mec says any made after 1983 should have the rubber insert.Wow they responded fast,nice to know if your in a tight spot. ;D
