I'd say 7.5" but only because they don't use 8-3/8" like S&W does. I'm not a fan of snub nose revolvers for other than concealed carry.

Well, you CAN get the old 10 1/2" .44's. Dunno how I'd go about carrying one, though.

I prefer 4 5/8" to 6" for a general use gun. If its a primary hunting handgun I like 7 1/2" to 8"
