4th of july swivel
« on: July 04, 2009, 04:21:33 PM »
Fired Dom's swivel gun tonight using 3 tablespoons cannon grade.(blanks)  Had one perfect smoke ring. Flames about 6-8 ft out the muzzle and 2-3 ft out the vent using 209 primers and slap lock. Some tinfoil went 25 -30 feet downrange. When cleaning last firing I scrubbed the barrel and fogged with ballistol still had a slight film of rust any suggestions. I also left the barrel in the mount and that seems to have froze up even though dried and oiled  thinking I'll use a grease on the pin. Happy fouth everyone.

Well do better next time!  ;D
Mr president I do not cling to either my gun or my Bible.... my gun is holstered on my side so I may carry my Bible and quote from it!
