Rock River A2 Build
« on: July 04, 2009, 11:40:31 AM »
Just finished it yesterday and I thought the forth of July would be the perfect day to test fire her. She functioned perfectly. On paper eaisly with the mechanical zero. Just a couple of clicks adjustment. Right on. The lower is a Stripped Rock river Arms. Lower parts kit is rock river as well as the bolt , Butt stock/buffer assembly! The barrel is a bushmaster 20 inch, Govt profile. This is as close to a Real A2 as us untrustworthy civilans can get. A joy to put together and to shoot. It took a couple months, had to Waite forever for the barrel, and lower parts kit. But that is all in the past. Now I am sad as the build is complete. I think I will start work on My 1983 CJ7.. That rifle will look awesome in her rack. She will get antique plates this year
