alox and conventional bullet with a gas check

hey guys
i casted up some 310 gr Lee gas checked slugs   they are .432  like i wanted them   i used lee liquid alox to lube them
so do i need a 2nd coat of lube?    these are for a handi- rifle   prob 1600 fps or so  thinking of trying lil gun    2400   #9 and h110 and unique powders ;D

how THICK is the one coat? IF you didn't thin the goo with mineral spirits or other solvent one coat should be enough. I only recoat them for 1800 to 2200 fps. Or if I size them AFTER the first coat.

If you ran them through a sizer after lubing them then you will need a second coat.

well i warmed it in the microwave    it was a thin coat     so i heated it again   and dipped the lube grooves full or nearly so tonight and will let 'em dry     see what i got tommorow

pretty heavy coat on the lube grooves   almost level full    i will try ;em

1600 fps is asking alot of tumble lube.
