.35 Remington Handy........?????

Hello,  I am new here and was wondering if anyone have attempted or know of someone who has converted a handy rifle to shoot the classic .35Remington. I own a handy ultracomp on .270win and a second barrel chambered for .223Remington. Ultimately I would like another barrel chambered for the .35Rem.  Thanks

Welcome! I have a 357max barrel that I had GBO sponsor Oregunsmithing rechamber to 35 Rem, shoots real good, the 1:18¾" twist isn't ideal, but it shoots 240gr cast bullets accurately at about 2000fps and 200gr cast at ~2200fps even better, I haven't shot jacketed in it yet, but plan to shoot Super 35 Rem loads in it sooner or later.

I'd like to know how the 35 Rem shoots with jacketed bullets. OG owner Wayne is a buddy of mine and reamed my 45 lc to 454 Casull.

It should shoot fine, many, many 357Mag/Max owners owners here will  attest to the accuracy of the 357 barrel. Wayne's been my buddy too for the last 4yrs anyway, he's done a lot of work for me and many others here, I'd just like him to move back to Aurora where he was a LOT closer to me!!

Just had Wayne York at Oregunsmithing convert my .357 ejector to .35 Remington.
Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet,but it seems to function perfectly.
