noslers bullets in 95 grain ?

I been reading and did call nosler tech: about there Silver Tip CT in 95 grain compared to there Ballistic Tip 95 grain in 243 cal. :He did state the 2 bullet are almost alike.
What do you guys think?
I can't seem to find any one who has the CT Silver tips in stock

The CT bullets are just coated with a lubatox coating. Other wise they are the same.

I shoot 95gr nosler BTs and have some CTs.  I use the .243 as a game preserve gun and have shot all kinds of exotic sheep and deer.  No difference in my gun nor is there any difference on game.  Don't waste the $$ on the CTs.

There's nothing magic about any bullet, and since Nosler makes the tinnchester slugs - DrDoug basically said; 'just shoot the Nosler's and call it good.'

For some reason, niether my nor my brotherinlaw's 243s would shot the same groups as they do with 100gr bullets. Accuracy just never was there where the Nosler BTs were concerned. Never have been able to figure this one out. Choices of 100 bullets are a lot better too.

Shot them for a few years before they added the Silvertip version. Both as mentioned under the coating are identical.

With the standard version I noted more damage that I liked with the particular load I was using. It was however on the upper end of the load range.

I have been working with the 100gr Solid Bases both before and now again in a couple of rifles. I find it much more to my liking in both penetration and damage to the surrounding tissue. Either one will do the job if you put them where they need to be.

i worked up a load with the CT 95 grainers and then someone gave me the BT version of that bullet. same group exactly.

so i saved the money and went with noslers.
