Hunting regs concerning

Pistol caliber rifle use. I read somewhere ands if I find the mag I read it in I'll post it, But I'm sure it said something about Ohio re-evaluating the laws concerning hunting with rifles that are shooting pistol cartridges. if anyone knows anything could you please up date me

I just checked the laws and it did not say anything about letting us use rifles of any cal.

Hey Striker,

     Have not heard this, but you know you can hunt with a pistol useing rifle cartrages as long as their strait walled? The way the law reads, you can have J D Jones make you a 600 Nitro express barrel for your Contender and that rig is legal, but I can't shoot a deer with my 243 Win!! Per Eric Lane, Perry Co. game warden.

True every word. Unless you have Crop Damage kill permits , Or call your local Sherif to put down a deer that has been Hit by a Car.  They will give you a tag to keep it also.
