green river canadian belt knife

    why buy a grohomann R4 survival knife when you can make your own.it started as a green river 6" beef skinner cut down with files to a 5-1/2" blade, the scales are red morrell burl from the west Australian gold fields the sheath is camel leather it turned out pretty good but i would not use this wood again its a pig to work with its a very very very hard wood that's the woods natural color.still needs a few more coats of oil to finish it of.

 That's nicely done!! I like both the looks and the grind.
