MArlin Glenfield single shot info please

I have a MArlin Glenfield that I bought a bit over 40 years ago. I don't find much on it in the way of model, etc. It is a great shooter. I like the way it has to be manually cocked before shooting...makes it a good gun for training kids. I wonder exactly what its production history might be.
