Back in Black.....and Blue
« on: July 17, 2009, 12:01:26 PM »
No I didn't bruise myself in some terrible shop accident. I actually finished up one of the knives laying about, complete with sheath! Work has kept me busy and out of the shop for a while, so it was nice do get back into it...even though it'll take an entire day to clean up all the G10 dust from the last few knives!

5160, manganese-parkerized blade. Slighly under 1/4" thick at the spine and tang (much of tang hollowed out to lighten). Upper edge is a false edge, but could be sharpened with a bit of stonework if someone was so inclined. Handle is black G10 with blue G10 liners and grooved for gripping.

Nice looking work, Don.  That's not an easy grind and the handle is really nice.
