Bear quivers?

Can anyone tell me if Bear ever installed quivers or quiver mounts on any of their older Kodiak Magnum bows? I have one from 1968 in very nice condition, but it has a quiver bracket mounted just above the brass coin. My buddy says that he has bought bows new that had the quivers installed from the factory. The quiver thats there has no name or marks such as the bear logo anywhere on it. Thanks for any help, Worm.

I am sure back then Bear had a spring arm mounted bowquiver so bushes where not neccesary . Heres a link with an advertising blurb that mentions the Bear Spring arm quiver dating back to 1965 and shows a more modern alternative   http://www.3riversarchery.com/quivers.asp . I use Great Northern strap on bowquivers , the short model I use on my selfbows and an adjustable one I use on my recurves . Had the short model since the mid 90's and the adjustable model for several years and rate them very highly .

My spring arm quiver  used an adapter thing that went into the stabilizer hole on the front. It basically rotated the stabilizer hole position about from 12 oclock to 2 oclock I suppose. It was a tab of sheet metal a hole on one end and a bolt on the other that a thumb nut threaded onto I think.

That thing was either an adapter to make my less expensive model like yours or someone installed that bushing later on.  Many of those older bows had brass bushings installed by the owners, I remember doing so for sight mounts and quick release quiver mounts.

This quiver is mounted on the side of the bow with what looks like to wood screws. I haven't tried to take the mount off yet. The mount is the dovetail variety with the quiver sliding down through the mount and the quiver has a large plastic screw to lock the quiver to the bow. I'm pretty sure that this is not a bear quiver or a factory mount deal at all, but just wanted to find out for sure. I have a couple of the older bear quivers and this looks nothing like them.
