Tactical Laser and Flash light on a Handi?

Has anyone mounted up their Handi with a Laser and Flashlight? If so How did you mount it up?
I am not trying to make my Handi something it's not, but still for Varmint hunting I am thinking about doing this to my new project.
You can find Pacatinny rails all day for AR's, and I was thinking about drilling and mounting one up to a forearm. And if not that rig up an old Weaver scope rail this way.
I am not real crazy about the scope mounted laser flashlight set ups as I think it's too much bulk and would rather have it mounted farther towards the end of my rifle or shotgun.
I have a ton of them, but please throw me some ideas  8)

Maybe buy an ATI forend and attach an airsoft rail to the bottom? Add a tri rail to that? Bolts right up on an AR.

I don't really care for thte ATI forend, but thats a thought. It feels a little flimsy to me  :-\
I like the thickness of the Choate forends however the Survivor model is a little thin near the end.

The cheapest way to do this is with a wood router and a carbide bitt.  Cut a trough that the Picatinny rail will fit in on the lower forward part of the forend.  I would set up the rail to protrude 2"-3" ahead of the fortip.   Make sure the rail trough is parallel to the bore. A wooden jig for the router to slide back and forth in and stay parallel to the bore would be very easy to make.  Then bed the rail with epoxy and two screws.

That is an interesting idea. I definately would use an epoxy for the mount with this project .
I also thought about drilling out the tip end of a forearm and epoxy this little guy in:

It would probably work excellent for a shotgun set up.

The 870 laser is very interesting. 8)  Setting up the rail and/or laser on your forearm, you will be able to bore sight the laser before the epoxy kicks off. ::) And adjust....
Also if you need to thicken the epoxy, so it will not run or drip, try mixing "cabosil" with the epoxy.  Cabosil will also make the epoxy stronger.  Have used over 100 gallons in the last 10 years. :( :'(

some of the outfitters for the ruger 10/22, mini-14 & 30's
offer a barrel mounted tri-rail......

i've seen them in action when we have rat shoots at the landfill,  :o

What is the diameter of the barrel in front of the forend?  For $19.  a Quad Rail Picatinny gas block for an AR-15 will work without any mods to the rifle. ;D  Just two set screws...

Wow great find and an excellent deal too 8)  I will definately put that on my list.
The forearm I want to check out for this project, I do not have yet :( I am looking into the new style synthetic forearms, also the reason I asked for some pics of it..(Thanks again Tim, pics saved)
If it comes down to it I might put it on a Survivor forearm as rigging it up might not be as hard as a slim contoured synthetic one..thought I love the feel,weight, and ruggedness of it... I probably use it  but would need more epoxy I am guessing, as I don't know the actual diameter of the AR forend ???
Will check that out....
I guess I should ask some more of the AR guys, sadly I don't know many...guess another search is in order.. ;D

The barrel dia. on standard AR-15s is in the 0.69-0.715 range.  If your barrel is larger it would be very easy to ream because it is aluminum.
Also Bushmaster has Three Rail Gas Blocks that are .750 dia. but they are big $$$$$. $52.
