Has anyone tried the leather lace on check rest on their handi rifle? Just courious how they worked out?

No, but I use this one from Blackhawk on my Mauser and it works great!

I have a couple of these and love them.  They have a pocket for different things a holds 5 rounds for you will the other sides check pad is very comfortable and does not slip.

I put a $8.99 synthetic velcro/screw-on checkrest from www.combathunting.com on our 22 Hornet Ultralight Compact.
