They are fine guns. Not as slick as a Python, but stronger. I haven't seen one in 13-14 years, so I have no idea what they are selling for these days. Back when I sold guns they were pretty popular. Never had one come back with a problem. All of my Colt revolvers are pretty accurate and have very good actions. When they came out Colt needed something for LEOs. Most officers (or departments) couldn't afford Pythons, so the King Cobra was a large frame .357 that was cheaper, but stronger than the Python which had a reputation of being too weak for sustained shooting with heavy .357 loads.
