LCP magazine

I bought a LCP a while back and had not played with it much.  Last night I took it out and had trouble inserting the mag.  It would go in only if I pushed the mag release button.  Anyone else have a similar experience?

The newer LCP's have a metal mag release instead of plastic like the first ones had. If you give it a good firm push, it'll click in. I prefer to just push the release in a bit, as that seems "easier" on the little gun. Lots of good info about these little pocket rockets at lcpforum.com.
