Need HELP..ASAP-Steel Grip Frame Won't Fit....

I bought a SBH round trigger guard, Blue Steel Grip Frame from a fellow here for my New Model Black Hawk in .357 Mag.. I wanted to replace the aluminum frame with this steel one. The SBH steel frame looks great, as if unused but it won't fit my NMBH.It is about 1/8" short of matching up with the top of the guns action frame.
The steel SBH grip frame is marked "XR-3" while the aluminum grip frame on my NMBH is marked "XRN-3RED". I was told by the seller that the steel grip frame was from a SBH. Did the seller sell me a steel grip frame from a RUGER Old Army instead of from a SBH? I even measured this steel grip frame along side MY Super Black Hawk and is is also 1/8" short of matching that gun to.
I now have a steel grip frame that wont fit as stated by the seller that it should.

my guess would be that the frame came from a flat top .44 it should be no problem to sell scott. I wish I would have had it myself a few months ago to use on the .41 special project.
