I just picked up a 12ga slug barrell and it came with a Redfield 1x-4x scope mounted on it. The scope number on the bottom of a turret is Q32717. When I look through the scope it has a regular crosshairs and two finer horizontal lines towards the top. On the right side of the vertical crosshair line below the horizontal crosshair line is what I presume is some kind of distance measuring tool. The outline is similar to the shape of a popsicle stick and the numbers range from 200 at the bottom to 600 at the top, and there's hash marks for each number and in between some. The numbers get smaller as they increase in size. Can someone shed some light on this scope for me and possibly provide me with a users manual for it. It's in excellent condition but I'd like to know what it was specifically designed for so that I can use it correctly.
