recessions over-time to party
« on: August 12, 2009, 02:05:04 AM »
Just read an article on Fox news. According to some economists the recession is over, it's all do to Bernanke, and we can all relax. Boy, does that make me feel better. Think I'll go out and find a new house to buy with all this money that will be flowing. gypsyman

I'll meet you at the Whitehouse for a beer to celebrate.

I'm going to my truck right now.

It'll take me about 7 hours to get there.

Again, I'm leaving right now.

See ya'll there.

There are two parts to a recession:
1) When the economy declines.
2) When the economy recovers.

1 seems to be over. 2 is not happening.

what recession are we talking about..the last mobile home plant here closed last month...
i know people that wouldn t have considered security work before ,,,that are holding on for dear life...a store owner recently told me 1 in 5 of his customers are drawing unemplowment...
the ones not drawing unemployment are mostly working in jobs they could find...
med ,civil service, your repair trades are doing best, from what i see. followed by just service companies or single servise jobs of some sort...the only manufacturing i know of going on here is a company that makes these forms for taxidermist to use to put your deers head on the wall...
what!! you thought it was your deers real head petrified or something... mabe yall knew i didn t until my ex son in law who works there told me exactly what his work was... slim
ps point is this long ago past the recessions ive experienced...call it something else..
mabe the fall has slowed some ...i hope...
