Very nice torpedoman. You're one of those good granddads for taking that little southpaw to the range and teaching him how to shoot. Looks like he's having fun too. I just love to see this kind of family action.

Good times there.  I have been letting my oldest grandboy shoot one of my 22s when he comes over. He has a birthday next month and I'm thinking of getting him his own. They are young only once so I might as well spoil the little guy while I got a chance.

torpedoman, how old is your grandson?

I've run out of grandkids to spoil and send home. The youngest is 18 now. But I have a great granddaughter that will be 15 months old tomorrow. I think she is more fun than the grandkids. She can already say a bunch of words and calls me Bam-pa. If she's awake she is going and I gurantee she could wear the Energizer Bunny down in about an hour. It takes Grandma and I both to keep up with her for a day.

he is 6  and he liked the 22, the 410, and the little 25 pistol that he thought was just made for him. But the big thrill was HIS OWN B.B. gun.once he learned to hold the stock behind his leg when co ck in g it he was off and running shooting pics of rabbits and deer hung on bushes and no tin can was safe. Sure wish he was around more I only get him 2 weeks in the summer but i think that will be enough to make a gunner out of him.

I can't wait to buy my Grandson a .22. He is only two right now. Well, maybe a BB gun first. Ok, maybe a pocket knife first.
