Browning buckmark ?

I've got a new Taurus 94 but  using a good rest,can't hit a 10" circle at 25 yds. I've adjusted the sights every way I know how, no go. At what distance are you supposed to sight in a .22 handgun ?
  Anyway I just sold it an I'm going to buy a Browning buckmark, do these guns shoot decen't ? I want one with wood grips but they don"t have any are the other plain grips ok ?

I have one with the standard grip its fine. I have a red dot on it and at 25yds can shoot inside 2" all day.

You'll love the Buckmark. I once was faced with the choice between a Ruger Mark II 6-7/8" target model and a Buckmark of similar configuration. The Ruger was $10 more, but came with two magazines. I took the Ruger after deciding that I didn't like the idea of removing the rear sight screw to clean the Browning. Then, I took the Ruger apart to clean it. After two hours of trying to dangle things just right, I decided that removing that screw wasn't such a bad thing after all.
A buddy has one and it is NOT fussy about brand or type of ammo. They really shoot great.

ive had one for a few years and it has been become my favorite out of several auto and revolver rimfires i own.never really put it on paper much other than to sight it in good.havent had any trouble with it and have never took it apart to clean it.will easily hit a walnut at 25 yrds or so.im very impressed with it to say the least.

I have a Buckmark with over 3000 rounds through it.  No problems and very accurate.  I have a brother that is a really good pistol shot.  He can shoot a ragged hole at 25 yards off a rest.

My older brother has one. He was used to the hit/miss aspect of other .22's that he had owned but told me that when he started shooting that Buckmark, it was like you get a hit every time.

I'm far from a dead-eye shooter, but my Buckmark makes me look pretty good.  I couldn't be happier with this gun.

I bought the Buckmark "Target" several years back. The Target has the long 7"+ barrel and the "fancier" grips. Then I picked up a shorter 5" barrel so I could mount a 1.5 power handgun (short little thing) scope on it. The scope required barrel drilling and I just couldn't drill my 7" barrel.

Both barrels are great shooters. I have Williams Fire Sites on the 7" barrel. The gun "eats" any ammo I feed it.....and I don't often clean it..... ...I figure it's just gonna get dirty again.

Good guns. Buy one. You won't regret it.

I used a Buckmark for "Bullseye" competition for years, tens of thousands of rounds fired, very accurate, very reliable.

Yes, they do shoot decent.  They have one of the better factory triggers of 22 semi-auto's out there.  I have had a Browing Buckmark with a bull barrel and adjustable target sights for many years and with one exception it is a sweet range handgun.  The exeception is that my old Buckmark has a strong recoil spring and very minor seriations on the slide and is a devel to cock after the trigger has fired with no recoil.

bought a buckmark 5 years ago. shot hundreds upon hundreds of rounds through it. Never had a jam. Firing without a rest at 25 yrads I get each one in a 6" circle or better.
