I completely agree with other replies - don't try to sight it in high/low/whatever at 50 and think you'll be able to have it where you want it at any other distance. Sure, you might be in the ballpark, but you won't be on.
If my scope moves 1/4 inch at 100 yds with one click ... and it's 4 " low at 200 yds.
The answer is related to just these two pieces of data. If you want it on at 200, and it hits 4" low, and it has 1/4 inch clicks at 100 yds, then you need to adjust 8 clicks (1/4" at 100 means 1/2" at 200). Then shoot it at 200 to see if you are on.
