Current Polish TTCs/TT33s from SOG

Has anyone ordered one of these yet?

Curious how the finish is, quality of the added safety, grips, function.

Also curious if these have the original Soviet style slide serrations, and are missing the thumb rest, or what.  Preferably, I would rather not have the thin lined serrations or the thumb rest.

I just got my Polish Tokarev last night from SOG. It's covered in cosmolene but looks to be in very nice condition. Bore is very good with no pitting, very slight pitting under the blue on the slide a little. Hard to see unless looking for it.
Came with 2 mags and a holster.
The safety works better than expected from what I have read, but the frame is scratched from the installation.
Older style Russian serrations and no thumb rest. All in all I am very pleased, and always have been with purchases from SOG.
And I didn't pay for the hand select. Never have.

I always call and ask for Kelly @ ext 226. Great service that way.
Only have 1 picture so far, right out of the box.

And here it is cleaned up

That looks good and you did a heck of a job on that holster.

Jagguy, I ordered one, and came practically identical to yours.

If you don't mind, could you provide some details on what materials and methods you used on your TTCs holster?  It turned out fantastic.  It looks practically as good as my unissued Romanian TTC holster!

And thanks for the reply.

Regards,
Chris.

I took the Tokarev to the range last Friday. Ran 100 flawless rounds through it, very easy pistol to shoot. I am very happy with it! As far as the holster goes, I just rubbed it down with Rawlings Glove Oil. Maybe 10 coats, softened and cleaned the leather very nicely and doesn't get greasy.
