USED 243 CAL. BARREL SEEM TO BE A GO

I pick up a used in excellent condition from a memeber here and looks like I got real lucky seem to fit as good as the original 30-06 barrel that came with the gun.I spoke with tim: about the latch lock up and did smoke the latch on the barrel on lock-up seem even wear across the edge.I also lock up the action on a 243 round and tried a .002 shim which seem a .o.k.
I hope to test fire it in a few weeks will post my results the barrel made in 1999
I think that ends the handi rifle for me

Sorry to burst your bubble :'(, but I don't think that "ends" it for ya.  When you least expect it, there she will be, the one you didn't know you needed until you saw her :-*.  Then it will be, "but honey, it followed me home, can I keep it?" ::)  No cure, no 12 step program, just more Handi's you poor fellow. ;D  Have fun!  DP

I didn't see a 45-70, or a 357 on that list.  Better ponder that a while.  How can  you go through life without those?
