45/70 Load

Hello all ,

Was wondering if anyone has a load using the Nosler 300grain Partition .458 ? And IMR3031 . Was hoping for any feedback with this particular combination .

I have only ever loaded up cast bullets and the 3031 works like a champ in my guide gun .

Going to tote this combo to Alaska to deer/blackbear hunt and thought I would like to try the Noslers . The
nosler manual does not list 3031 , but I was hoping someone here has used this combo ?

Realguns has other powders listed, I use H4198 and the Nosler PP at 2425fps in an H&R 22" barrel, the load was worked up in a guide gun by a friend with advice from Hodgdon, if you're interested, I'll PM you the details. Hodgdon lists IMR3031 for the 300gr Sierra.
