A big thanks to Matt and Toni at TVM! I received my .45 caliber Southern Mtn rifle earlier this week. Need to try to find some time to shoot it now!

Hey Darrel, if you don't mind my asking, what grade of wood is that from TVM? Also, did you get the entry thimble and nosecap? (can't tell from the picture)

Hi Semisane,
I ordered the super premium wood along with the optional ramrod entry pipe, nosecap, and sideplate. Thanks for the compliments guys!

I just got back from the range with it. She's a keeper for sure. I'll try to post some pics later of some of the groups I shot with it today. Right now I've got to go clean a muzzleloader. I've got some questions for you experienced flintlock shooters too if you don't mind. This is my first flintlock...
