C&R Record keeping question
« on: November 27, 2009, 02:26:55 AM »
This might be off-topic but not sure where else it might go.

I read that one can get permission from BATF to keep an electronic "Bound Book" rather than a physical copy.  Anybody do that or otherwise know anything about it?

Thanks.

Never heard that, but I would be interested in doing so as well, if anyone has any knowledge of it.

The last information I read (6 months ago and I can not find it right now) stated electronic bound books were permissable for 01 FFL's after recieving permission from the District or Regional ATF Office.  It also state that 03 C&R FFL's were not allowed to maintain an electroinic Bound Book.
