I had my old Mini rebarreled years ago by Accuracy Rifle Systems. With typical mil ball, it shoots into something like 1.5". With my handloads using 748 and Sierra bullets, it is closer to 1". I also had the original ugly stock fixed up, but I have recently replaced it with a Hogue stock. The new, heavy barrel displays none of the problems with barrel heating of the original. I have recently started playing with smaller gas bushings. I got a bunch of sizes and finally settled on replacing the original .088" bushing with a .042" one. The gun still shoots well; brass isn't sent into orbit and it reduces the banging of the op rod on the receiver. So far, I haven't found any ammo so weak that it won't function with the reduced gas flow bushing.
