Basic New Guy Info

Howdy Pards-- (see? I'm trying to be a cowboy already :grin: ):

I'd like to get into CAS at some level--is there a good web page or two that tells new people all the basic stuff?  Or a book? I'm an experienced hunter, but would be totally new to CAS.

Thats the place to get started. The rule book is there as well as lots of good links to websites for information and vendors.

Here is another good one.  Capt. George has been at it for a goodly while and he has a great deal of info on his site.  I usually check it every month or so--not that he has added new stuff; rather, I have a habit of forgetting  :grin:

On the SASS net (DB metioned it above) there is a way to click on your state and find clubs that are close to you.  Going to an actual match and watching and asking questions goes along way to bring you up to speed.

It is a blast--just got back from our monthly Sat shoot and will be going tomorrow for Sunday's version.
