universal press
« on: August 13, 2009, 11:04:34 AM »
I just aquired a old universal turret press. It holds 12 dies has four shell holders. Was just wondering if anyone could tell me any info on it as how old it is and what it might be worth? Thanks for any help.

Can you post a photo? I'd like to see that one.

Can you read the Patent date? I can't make it out in the picture.
I've never seen a press quite like that.
Thanks for sharing the picture.

If you haven't found it yet, the Antique Reloading Tools website has info on that brand and I'm sure several folks on there can help you find more on your dandy press.

thats a hollywood press and there a very high quality piece. Probably the finest turent press ever made. Its hard to put a dollar value on it as it depends on how bad the buyer wants it but they seem to start at about 300 bucks and go up from there.
