Memorial Hermann, here in Houston, was offering screening and the Hen who must be obeyed said I had to go.
I just got back.
They found an anurism and said it was life threatening.
I am trying to see, thru my doctor, what and where I need too go.
Most likely I will go to St. Lukes here.
pass the word around for prayers for me.
I am not concerned about it all but, then there is Ann and the kids.
The Lord leads me thru the valley and He is my Savior and King.
It may be awhile before I can report back--or somebody else does.

My thoughts and prayers are with you William for a cure and a speedy recovery. Where is the aneurysm located? My mom-in-law had an aneurysm successfully removed from her stomach area.

Here is the scoop. It is an aunurism on my aorta, near the spine, behind the belly button. It is 5x5x5---according to the chart, life threatening.
The ER Doctor and two PA's questioned me extensively---I had not experienced any of the warning signs associated with such an anurism.
They conferred with the Cardiologist that I have an appointment with Friday the14th of this month, two days from now.
They have decided that I will have the appointment and any test He wants before they put a plan together.
They do not know if I have had it for years or if it is new. The fact that I have had an ultra-sound within a couple of years is not a sign it is new, may just not have been found.
Anywho, my spirits are good and I have no fears. Whatever the Lord has plans for will be more perfect than any I could come up with.
I have confidence it will be alright.
Thanks and contiue too lift the Doctors and Ann up in prayer.

My uncle in France also had a similar aneurysm.  His doctor told him the last time he visited, if he flew to make arrangements to get his body back to France.  The doctor also ordered him to cut down on anything that makes life worth living for an 80 year-old man.  Sadly, the doctor passed away shortly thereafter.  My uncle sure misses him.  BTW, he had a good flight over and we had a ball while he was here.

I am going to finish up some yard work tomorrow--it is half finished and I know I will be incompacitated for awhile.
The Hen said that she didn't know if she would let me.
How do you say "stop me" in a nice way.
I figger if it happens it will happen and I would bleed out in about 4 minutes---but I was doing it before I found out and I don't know who will finish it if I don't.
Anywho. thanks for all the prayers, the kind words and thoughts---you will never know how much I appreciate them.
