Try contacting Savage Arms to see if they have replacement parts. Even if they don't have the parts they may be able to give info where to find them.

Thanx for the reply stranger.   Like I said by lookin at the gun it looks a whole lot like a savage, but it's got quite a bit of age on it, actually was thinkin of lookin up some exploded scematics of a newer savage and see'in if ther is a difference in, my guess is ther probably is but ya dont know till ya try.   Thanx again.

Good guess.   Lakefield Arms (Ontario, Canada) went under with new Canadian restraints and was bought out by Savage.   So the Lakefield moniker is no more and they are sold under the Savage moniker now.   So Savage will be your source for parts.
Evolution at work. Over two million years ago the genus Homo had small cranial capacity and thick skin to protect them from their environment. One species has evolved into obese cranial fatheads with thin skin in comparison that whines about anything and everything as their shield against their environment. Meus

Thanx Ladobe,    I talked to a friend at work thats got a heliarc welder, he said he could build it up.  But,,,as much as I like tinkerin with it, probably a good idea to buy another one just in case.    Plus it'll give me one to work with and see just what I can learn from it.

Just guessing that you found this list HERE<--- ? Does not list everything but has some parts.
I got enough parts to convert my MKI to a MKII(I call it the MK1.5) Looks and functions great.
