Jim Henry trigger work
« on: January 15, 2009, 06:22:29 PM »
I recently got my Encore back from Jim Henry.  I sent it to him based on comments on this web site.  There are several things about this trigger job that I thought were worth mentioning.

1) The work is excellent.  I'm not an expert, but this trigger shows me how bad some of my other guns are.
2) I didn't have to pre-pay.  When I got it back, he said in a note, quote "only if you are happy with the work".  I don't know when last I had this sort of service.
3) Turnaround two weeks to and from Alaska.
4) Total bill, including return shipping $50
5) He guarantees his work, even if T/C replace the parts, he will re do them
6) When I spoke to him on the phone, he was a perfect gentleman.

Knowing the way T/C's breed, I'm sure he will become a member of the family.

Rob

Jim's been a member of my "family" for years.   A nicer, more honest gentleman to do business with you'll never find, nor one that knows more about TC's than he does.   All of my TC frames are tuned to be the sweetest you'll ever see thanks to Jim.
