Scope mounts for S&W M29?
« on: September 18, 2009, 06:34:52 AM »
My smith and wesson model 29 has a 8 3/8 barrel. It is a 29-3.  So I don't believe it is drilled and tapped.  What are some good scope mounts for these guns.  I've only seen the b-square and aimpoint. Any info would be great.

You should be able to trade your gun for one with holes already drilled and tapped, reasonably? Then you haven't done damage to one that's collectable, and gaining in value everyday? My $.02

I saw one up in the classifieds that might be worth looking at.
I thought about it for my 629 but just didn't have the $'s for it right now.
