TC Encore...............questions
« on: August 24, 2009, 01:57:27 PM »
Was at a friend of mine camp this afternoon..........he asked me if i need a Encore in 300 mag????????????......i said sure,  ;D........

It's a TC encore, camo stock and forearm. With a 300 win mag barrel ( blue) , and a camo barrel 209/50 ML with one piece scope base, and a extra NEW 22-250 barrel ( Blue) with one piece scope base. Oh and the ML barrel has a extra camo forearm. Has ammo, and and 777 pellets, the whole deal.

1. how much is this worth????? Ball park figure......???

2. pro and cons----encore vs pro hunter????

I have a older TC contender 44 mag. , that i enjoy shooting. And a T/C ML omega in 50 and a T/C renagade 54 ML, These are the only 3 dealing i have had with T/C products.........any input on this purchase would be helpful THANKS

I don't know what it is worth. But I love my encore. I have .50 cal., .223, .25-06, and a.45 acp.pistol barrel and they are great!!! They are the best rifle/pistol combo I have ever had!!!! They shoot better than I can!!!!!

A fair price would be in the $850 to $900 range.  A good price would be in the $750 to $800 range.  This is assuming all the stuff is in excellent unrusted condition.

The only advantage I see in the Prohunter over the regular Encore is that it looks cooler.

You can also peruse gunbroker.com and see what stuff is actually selling for.

the pro hunter has the swivel hammer, and flextech stock.

they can put the hammer on at the tc factory for $65, the flextech stocks reduce recoil alot!

just check out the tc classifieds here, you figure $300 frame, $200-$300 per bbl, $100-$125 stocks.

The swivel hammer allows you to angle the hammer to the side to make it easier to cock when a scope is installed.
