#1B stainless in 7mm-08
« on: January 07, 2003, 04:53:32 AM »
I posted this in the single shot forum but thought I would post here as well.

My cousin has one new in the box. No 7mm-08 are listed in the catalogs. I called Ruger and they said it left the factory in June 2001. They did not know why it is a 7mm-08 but did confirm that was the original caliber when it left the factory.

What up wit dat?????????????

:money: OK I'll bite. Maybe a special order or a barreled action some one put a stock  on. Ruger's catalogue has more in it
that you can't get  (ie a gold lable) than you can.

 Check out Ruger's web site. Under the section Special Products there are a number of firearms you would not find in the catalog. (Firearms to products to special producs). Could be your rifle!!! was from such a list.

It was a special runf of about 500. I have one too.

I wonder why Ruger was so evasive about it?
