Rebarreling a Gahendra
« on: September 14, 2009, 01:46:13 PM »
Please don't flame me for asking. (they did somewhere else)
I have a gahendra that is unshootable (at least I think so)
I have an extra 71/84 mauser barrel that is pristine and was wondering if there is anywhere I can go to get info as to the possibility of useing it on the Gahendra?
It would (I think) require stubbing the original Gahendra barrel and cutting the 71/84 barrel to fit in side the bored out stub.
Am looking for advice as to where to go(not there) for help.

i have had two gahendras and they were from an earlier shipment from nepal back in the 1970's.  both were/are incredibly accurate.

although they had sloppy chambers.   i don't even know what threads the barrels/receivers have.

have you thought about having the barrel lined?
