I've never seen them quite that deep before. Alot of the parts dealers at the gun shows use them for seperating items on their table. 'Course the ones I'm use to seeing are only about 4 or 5 inch's deep, and there are dividers that you can arrange in different lenght's and width's, depending on what your putting in them.
Not sure if that's what these are for, they look about a foot deep. Just a guess. gypsyman

Assuming those are standard pallets they are much closer to 4' wide and 2.5' deep and likely around 7' long. Kinda human size if you ask me. I don't see any lids in the photos tho. Why bother tho with such when body bags and mass graves are likely to be the order of the day at the internment camps.

They aren't coffins.

On that I do tend to agree with you even if not on much else. I realize that is the implication from TM7 and they do look as if they could serve that function with a lid but I just don't think the powers to be are that concerned about such a container in mass graves so see no reason to use them as such.

What they are in reality intended for I truly do not know.

For years there were Vaults that a coffin go into.
They are/ were a cement box that was large enough to hold a coffin.
Most of the time when you go to a grave side funeral you toss in a little dirt if you are allowed and then under the fake grass is a mound of dirt and the vault lid.  The vault keeps fluids from leaving and leaching into the water tables, keeps the grave from collapsing, and keeps it from moving in sandy wet soil.
I wonder what one would cost?  Would make a good cheap hot tub or a place to stick spare ammo and guns burried out in the yard.
When I saw then I thought they were large water tanks for live stock.
we used to buy the galvanixed ones, put up on bricks, and toss the coals from the BBQ under them to warm them up and have a single person hot tub when I was in college.  Guess I will have to get one of the propane heaters for camping to heat the poly based ones.
I also wish you had something next to them for a referance other than the pallet.

I really can't make out the size, however, Electric companies use what appears to be the same thing.
They are used to store underground cable in---buried--where they put in underground in S/D's and don't want to install the tranformers until a later time.
It prevents theft and liability concerns.

Looks like a burial vault. They come in colors; adult, oversive, and youth sizes; are made from recycled plastic, and the lid can be personalized with pictures of the dearly departed. Lots of advantages over the old concrete vaults, too.

May be just what I have been looking for to store all of my gun cases in.  All of the plastic tubs are too short.

im thinking that maybe those are just storage bins the dems plan on useing when they come for all our guns.they will put the guns in there and then ship them to a central facility for destruction.they will have different colored ones for the bodies.

Well, well, coffins they are. Lets put it in prospective,TM7, you said the picture was out of a New York cemetery. A city with over 10 million people. I'll bet if you click the numbers, 500 to 1000 people a day die in New York alone. Old age, drug abuse, etc. If this is the main cemetery, potters field say, how many of these coffins get shipped to other cemetery's around the area. Hell, I'll bet there are over 1000 cemetery's around New York. This probably isn't a 2 month supply for just all the people that are dieing from natural causes. Just a thought. gypsyman

They are outside of Atlanta Ga . , its 500000 in storage to be transported to where ever they are needed . They can be sealed to contain what ever . with the threat of both bio and nuke attack are they a bad thing ? its not like they are hiding them , or are they ?
Maybe they stack better than body bags , who knows ?

These look almost as scary as the "prison cars" they were putting on here a few months ago. I see tere is a need to imprison the cars these car carrier "prison cars". My ncle who died about a month and a half ago's coffin was put in a vault just like that one. HMMM he was a korean war vet, maybe he was a test subject for these super coffins?

Cremation and putting the ashes into the Sea for me unless they can afford to bury me in a tropical spot overlooking a beach with all kinds of bikini clad women. ;D

I'll be going back home to the family plot.  I'd rather just be left in the woods next to the base of a white oak tree.
