Hi from Savannah Ga. New member!
« on: September 05, 2009, 04:39:33 AM »
 Hi all!
WOW! I'm glad I found this place. I have a approx. 24" old cannon barrel and I have lots of questions! ::)
I 've got it mounted on a homemade Naval carriage but I think it might look good as a Rev. War cannon on a field carriage.
I don't know jack about them so I'm here to pick yer' brains. ;D  Will try to figgure out how to post pics of it so you get a better understanding of what I'm trying to do. :P

Sign up for free My Hosted Pics here:

https://www.gboreloaded.com/mhp/

It tells how to upload your pix to the web.  Then you get the picture's web address (http://................).  Then you copy it from there and paste it into your posting here.  That will put a link here we can click on to see the pic.

Later we will show you how to make it appear automatically.

Edited by Graybeard to change to the GBO Supplied free photo hosting that actually works. Most times photobucket images don't.

Interestingly, in 10 years of using Photobucket to post photos to websites, I've never had a problem, I guess I'm unusually fortunate.

I haven't used the site Graybeard substituted, so I can't help the poster with it or comment, but will take Gray. word that it works OK.

As with many things, each to his own.

Gary, is it just the GBO site that doesn't work for you or is it all sites that don't work for you.
