I got a Heavy Machete and what can i used it for to cut? can i cut wood and other plant stuff? The one i have look like a short Slimline Machete and is very powerful. It's a One piece of tempered, all stainless steel, with a Nylon cord wrapped grip.

Machetes cut small limbs, branchs, plants etc. No reason why you can't do that. I can cut limbs/small trees up to around 4 or 5 inches with my Incolmas.

I have an old brazilian made machete of heavier metal and it holds a edge like a knife. It will take out a live tree in the range that joel is talking about in short work. Smaller stuff it flies thru with little effort. The harder seasoned stuff and lumber like your table is like hitting a rock, to hard on me and the machete so I use a saw for that.
