been awhile, any of ya'll shoot the colt clone of the model 605 ?
im in the prosses of converting my bushy m4 to the 605 platform,
''need'' the longer sight radius,
mine is the flattop, but i do have the carry handel, i wishes i had the money just to buy the correct colt parts and build from scratch,
but
......... it'll still look like an 605,............at 40yards,
i've ordered a cmmg mid-contour barrel, with mid-length gas system, and A1 stock.
and of course the full length handguards.
cannot wait till the parts gets here..
i thinks ? best of everything, [my opinion] and .02 cents worth....
but ? think about it ? handy, with the 16'' barrel, 1-7 twist, mid-length gas, use rifle springs and buffer,
softer bolt operation, less wear and tear compared to carbine length gas.
FULL length rifle sights.[needed]
and full length handguards, lots of room to hang on.........just thinking, the perfect ar.
