PSL shooters???

I haven't seen any threads about PSL's here recently, so I'm starting one. Who alls got one, what do you shoot thru it and what are you using it for?
Mine is a TG import(build) all matching #s, it seems to like Czech 147grn better than anything else. It mostly gets used at our local range, but drops coyotes every chance I get to punch a hole thru one.

I changed the stock out to an ATI AK/Drag stock. I like the longer pull of it and it lightens it up a bit. I swapped out the optics for a 8x psop from Kalinka. It was well worth the $200 I paid for it. The forearms are still the orig wood, but coated with truck bed liner.

I got sidetracked and haven't shot my PSL in a while. I absolutely hate the scope that came with it but mostly it is the bizarre chevron reticule that annoys be and I feel it limits my ability to place shots. I intend to get rings so I can use a commercial scope with plain crosshairs. My best accuracy has been with handloads using the 150 grain Hornady .312" bullet at just under 2 moa. The Czech 147 grain is not too bad but closer to 3 moa while Wolf 150 grain is lousy, more like 5 moa. I was also chronographing my shots for group and found a big variation depending on how long the round sets in a hot chamber.
 Best groups came by single loading but I learned another lesson there. DO NOT drop a round in the chamber and release the bolt. I got a very surprising SLAMFIRE that way. It seems that stripping a round from the magazine into the chamber slows the bolt velocity enough to prevent slamfires but if you'll extract a chamber round and examine it you will see there is still a very light firing pin indent. The PSL has no provision to prevent the firing pin running forward before the bolt is locked.

I wish someone would come up with a repair/conversion for the firing pin like with the NDM's. I've been using the CZ ammo mainly because I had some slamfires with reloads. I did think about pulling some of the CZ's and reloading them with new 150 grn BTHP's.
I've adjusted to the PSOP optic very well. It's the same style aming point as the night optics I used in the military. I tried to change the system and found that the low-profile mount I wanted to use was too low and didn't give enough clearance on the top cover.

I think a titanium firing pin would reduce the weight enough to eliminate slamfires. Perhaps just milling out the sides of the steel pin would also work, it is a long and heavy pin. I have pulled some bullets from the S&B 180's and replaced them with 150's to be easier on the rifle and they shot pretty well, better than the Czech 147's.
