Source for 9.3 lead bullets?

Can someone point me toward a source of cast lead GC bullets for my new SSK 9.3x74r encore barrel?  There are lots of $1 a piece jacketed bullets but I am looking for some plinking bullets.  Thanks.

I can just about promise you that IF you find a source of such they'll cost you more than a buck a piece. I'm not aware of anyone making them however and am not even real sure who if anyone makes gas checks for them. If you want to cast your own I suspect Veral Smith of LBT could make you a mould.

  What's wrong with the Speer 9.3 270 grain jacketed bullets?  They are FAR from a buck a piece, at less than 20 bucks per 50...

Go to the Grafs website and look up the 286 grain round nose bullet by privi partizan. this bullet has been used quite successfully in the 9.3x57 and 9.3x62 cartridges. Frank

You can try paper patching .357 or .358 cast bullets.  I paper patch a cast .358, 245 gr. Saeco bullet for my Ruger 9.3x74R.  I use no sizing dies or lubricant.  With two wraps of tracing paper the bullet diameter is .366.  They shoot well and the bore stays clean.  They are as cheap as it gets.  For cheap plinking I have heard of loading 9mm Makarov (0.365) pistol bullets in the 9.3x74R but have not tried them my self.  For cheap plinking it is easier for me to load something for one of my 30 cal rifles.  Speer and Privi Partizan both make good low cost 9.3mm bullets.  I used a 286 gr Privi Partizan slug on a 200 lb wild hog.  It dropped in its tracks.

I had Veral Smith make a 250 grain mould and use 375 gas checks. Works great.

I had the same problem with my new 9.3X62, and finally decided to buy some 270 grain FP Gas Check bullets from Mt. Baldy Custom Cast Bullets.  They shoot great, and will suffice until I decide on what mold etc for the future.  That said, vernal is a good choice, I think that's where I'm going to go eventually.

I don't cast so I bought some of the Mt. Baldy bullets.   They are just exactly what I was looking for.
