jhalcott, I couldn't agree more if he lives in Alaska or western rocky mountains? Midwestern folks would probably be better served with a healthy load of either H110 or 2400 under a 240 gr. SWC of Keith's design, in my opinion.

My point was: this was originally posted on the Handgun Hunting forum in a thread about .44 magnums not S&W 500s? Another of those strange little happenings at GBO.
