I just got 65 pieces of Lapua Brass in 6.5 x 284. Do all of the ones you have contain an annealing type about 1/4" below the neck up to the mouth of the case? It just seems weird to get brand new stamped Lapua Brass that looks like that. Is it normal?
Thanks,
Bob

I do not have any 6.5 X 284 brass, but I do have 6mmBR Lapua brass and it is the same way. It is part of their annealing process. If I anneal cases, they look the same way too. Good Luck and Good Shooting
