We will be holding our first stand alone convention this coming Sept 26& 27th near Goodhue MN.

This convention will be held on a pheasant farm, located about 25 miles NW of Rochester MN and 40 miles south of the Twin Cities. Easy access via Hwy 52 and CO road 9.

We are trying for a few unique demos- stay tuned-

Headlining the demo schedule, will be ROBERT WADDELL.

Robert is the current 4 time winner of World Champion Coyote Trapping contest held annually in New Mexico.

Robert traps full time in many states, and concentrates on canines, cats and beaver. Robert is one of the few to take 100 cats and 100 coyotes AND 500+ coon in the same year.

MIKE WIDNER (mustelameister/muskrat) will be doing a demo that will be of interest for all river trappers- Boat Trapping Rivers. Mike grew up in Onalaska WI, and has lived and trapped on the rivers for over 4 decades. If you trap the river, or have been thinking of trapping it- heres your chance to learn from the best. Mike covers all aspects from equipment, sets to line management and safety.

TOM OLSON(Bogmaster) will be doing beaver trapping with emphasis on the correct way to use castor mound sets all seasons of the year. Toms method is keep it simple, and let the beaver come to you. Included with be detailed otter trapping tips. Tom annually takes triple digit beavers and has been a full time trapper for several decades.

MIKE KELLY (marbleyez2001) (marbleyez2001) is the new generation of beaver trappers, specializing in run and gun methods in the bog type flat country. How to set up houses and lodges in the most efficient manner. Mike traps mainly the pond and lake areas of North Central Minnesota. Mike too is a triple digit beaver trapper. Mike will also be instructing on how to use GPS in the most efficient way on the trapline.

STEVE GAPPA(trappnman)will be doing a Dryland coon demo, covering line management with strong emphasis on how fastening traps to AVOID chewing without trap modifications. How to use drags, cover to reduce losses.

JASON DUFRESNE    of Dufresne Custom Trap Modifications, will be doing ongoing trap modification demos all convention. Featuring the wire trap lever conversion, bring a 1.5 and go home with a modified trap.

GARY MILLS will be doing an under ice muskrat trapping demo> use of conibears and footholds in runs and houses.

To compliment the trapping aspect of fur harvesting, we will be bringing you a top caller to hold actual in field calling demos- hopefully including the usage of decoy dogs.
