Breech plug/ hole dia.????
« on: September 25, 2009, 10:51:20 PM »
On a flinter, you have a flash hole pick, what size wire would fit into a breech plug[209],to do the same thing???? What i mean,is to be sure it is not pluged up ? I most of the time run a damp patch down the barrel, between shots, and then fire a primer, before reloading. This blows a patch off the end of the muzzle and i know it is clear. Primers are hard to get now and would just as soon run a wire pick thru it ? Maybe i am thinking wrong, but, that is why i am asking you folks.

You better elaborate on what type of a front stuffer you have! A lot of differences between manufacturers.
