thats a nice bear but you are right, what a lousy pic. you would think they would have at least put it right side up.  believe it or not, some of the biggest blacks killed are killed in pennsylvania.  they have very mild winters usually and a short hybernation with plenty of food.  i think the state record is over 800 lbs.  those are monster blacks.

dang....thats a big bear....i didnt get one here in pa this year....the weather were i was hunting was just to bad.....
Most children loose their innocense when they first saw old yeller die...me, i lost mine when they killed Optimus Prime.

Just read in Ontario Out of Doors that a 700 lb bear was shot here too.
