The cal. is 243. and thanx for the info on finding shim stock,I need some. 8 times out of 10 the round drop's rite in and seldom does the ejector catch it, but it ejects unfired rounds with authority when opened,but a spent case will usually stick. ( remedy found in faq's )
I inspected sevral new sb1/sb2's today, as stated in faq's, sb1 reciever had a ruff interior and firing pin was nearly 3 times as big as sb2, but the sb2 didnt looked very machined inside but a lot smoother than sb1, so mine is a sb2.
A guy at work mentioned selling it but I hate to give up, it's the the challenge of fixin it rite, then to see how accurate I can get it to shoot, it's good oppertunity to learn.
